Unlike other Inkjets that come with removable cartridges, the Epson Expression ET-2750 comes with a SuperTank ink system that lasts a while than you expect. You will not be running out of ink easily in your sticker printing. This makes it a cost-effective option for most of us in good price.
Inside the package, we have the printer and its power cord, a user’s manual along a CD containing setup drivers. You also get a starter ink pack containing black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink bottles in it. The build quality, however, is pretty decent considering the all-plastic bodyas like every printer has. Speaking of usability, the device has a very simple interface like any other Epson printer with most of it being self-explanatory. The display is tiltable for better visibility. Its like that the display is quite small and also, there is no touchscreen functionality in this model of printing machine. You will have to rely on the physical buttons on the control panel area. Ink levels can be easily traced.
Setting up the Epson Expression ET-2750 isn’t hard. To access its ink tank area, open its top and carefully pour the provided inks into their respective tanks. Once you are done filling the ink, carefully close the lid. It is time to power up your device. Insert the provided power cord in the socket provided to its back and plug the other end into a wall socket. This is a Economical sticker printer in the market.
The scanning quality on the device is pretty decent with impressive details. The printing speed, it could output a black-only text document at 9 PPM while the color document averaged at 5 PPM, isn’t cool? Photo printing took about 95 seconds.
Talking of the print quality, the printer did a decent job except for the color accuracy, but that is ok in terms of its price. The color accuracy needs improvement. When it comes to printing costs, the printer does exceptionally well compared to most other competitors in the market.
The HP OfficeJet 3830 HP is by far the best printer for stickers printing, that you can buy today. As this is an all-in-one inkjet printer, you can use it for a ton of other applications. Besides this, the 3830 is capable of borderless printing, making it an ideal choice if you also wish to print photo posters, that is impressive and makes it a one of best sticker printers.
This sticker printer felt compact for the first impressions as it only measures 14.33 x 17.72 x 8.54 inches. On the build quality, though the entire body is made up of plastic as others, the quality of plastic used is extremely good adding a premium touch and feel when you see and use it. Moving on, we have a flatbed scanner to the top, which can perform scan/copy operations effectively.
Besides this, you also get onboard Wi-Fi support which is only limited to the 2.4 GHz band. Like any other network printer, the HP 3830 also shares support to all popular cloud printing services. However, this printer lacks an Ethernet port which can be a drawback for many.
The HP OfficeJet 3830 is a very good choice for printing stickers. However, you will have to make use of sticker paper to serve the purpose. As this is an inkjet printer, the output photo printing quality turned out cool.In the case of paper handling, the HP OfficeJet 3830 is fairly acceptable with a 60-sheet single rear paper tray and a 25-sheet output tray. Whis is not a bad but acceptable. And this printer does exceptionally well in terms of print quality. It comes with a 35-sheet auto document feeder functionality.
The printing speeds aren’t the best in this as we have seen in others but good for an average user. It averaged about 8.5 pages per minute in the case of monochrome and 6 ppm for color.
Brother MFC-J895DW is somewhat leaner in speed and capacity of printing, and its color graphics output is a slight step down. But both printers churn out excellent-looking text and photos. On the connectivity note, the Brother MFC-J895DW color sticker printer boasts multiple connectivity options to choose from.
It has Wi-Fi with support for Wi-Fi Direct, an Ethernet port, a USB 2.0 port, NFC, and also shares support to the most popular cloud printing services in the market today. The MFC-J895DW is capable for light duty in homes and small offices. The scanning quality on the device is pretty impressive with the automatic document feeder feature. However, there is no duplex scanning functionality on this.
The printer also has a decent cost-per-print ratio and can be economical especially if you plan to use it for printing a lot each month. Brother rates the MFC-J895DW for speeds of 12 monochrome pages per minute (ppm) and 10ppm color. I tested it over Ethernet using our standard Intel Core i5 testbed PC running Windows 10 Professional. When printing our 12-page monochrome Microsoft Word document, the MFC-J895DW churned at 11.8ppm, or just a whisker under its rating, that makes it overall good sticker printer.
The Canon Pixma iX6820 Wireless Inkjet Printer offers almost the same set of features as the Canon Pixma iX6520 Inkjet Business Printer. Among the few differences are a slightly faster speed, a little lower quality for text, and a little higher quality for photos. The most significant update, is the addition of both wired and wireless network support.
There is no display on the printer, you will have to rely on PC software to know the status. However, the cartridges have an LED indicator that lights up when the inks are low. One advantage that the iX6820 has over the Epson WF-7010 is its Wi-Fi support. It also offers some mobile-print capability, including printing through the Cloud, support for AirPrint, and support for printing from Android and iOS phones and tablets over Wi-Fi, using Canon’s free apps.
Note that for any of these mobile print features to work, you have to connect the printer directly to a network. This wireless printer has moderate printing speeds with both the black-only text document and the color document printed at 8 PPM while the photo print took about 47 seconds. That is also a one of budgeted sticker printer.
The photo printing quality on the Pixma iX6820 is exceptional with decent color accuracy and great dynamic range. It can perform stunning borderless printing at exceptional quality.
The Canon PIXMA Pro-100 has a very simple design while it feels a bit larger for an inkjet printer. It measures 8.6 by 27.2 by 15.2 inches (HWD) and weighs about 43.2 lbs. The biggest bummer is that it lacks a display onboard, which means you will have to rely on an external computer to check its metrics.
It boasts two paper trays one for photo papers and the other is a manual slot. If you wish to print onto CDs and DVDs, you have got covered. It can also take thicker media if you choose vinyl printing.
The PRO-100 uses eight ink tanks for its dye-based inks: black; gray; light gray; yellow; magenta; photo magenta; cyan; and photo cyan. The high-end model in the series, the Canon Pixma PRO-1 , sports 12 ink tanks. Although the PRO-100’s sticker price is much less than that of the PRO-1, its ink costs—at least in price per milliliter of ink, as there’s no good way to measure the cost per printed page for this sort of printer.
The speeds on the Canon Pixma Pro-100 are pretty decent for a photo printer. It could print an 8×10 photo in just about 2 minutes. The printer can produce high-quality images with decent color accuracy.
